Even as, or especially as, a kid I loved a community Christmas party, running around with the kids while parents mingled and had fun. That was Tanunda. Now for me it’s on the street in Adelaide, it’s nice, it happens everywhere.

Yes – it’s (usually) rude to talk over each other – but not here. It’s excitement and all in. I’ll be accused of being chauvinistic, but I see them as a happy group of ladies, fondly.

It should be mandatory to run away and join a circus.

To me, they’re happy individuals, although one is perhaps a little troubled, temporarily.

Religious or not, I love the colours and architecture of many places of worship. Also, important and moving things happen inside them.
