| I don’t think it is a good idea. Being connected can mean being disconnected , especially for the easily distracted, me. Currently hung vertically. |
To me it’s a viking ship, hopefully on a goodwill trip.
| I do many such sketches, which no regard about the finish product, rather about the fun and release of the process. Once in a while I frame the sketch and hang it at home, knowing it brings to me a lightness , and quite probably no one else. |
| I congratulate the people and urban planners of this city. To me the city looks attractive, and somewhere I’d like to visit. At least they have shown imagination in the colour and shape unlike so many of the apartment blocks springing up in Adelaide and other cities. |
I love it that there are still countries, or communities, undiscovered. I think they’re peaceable people, untroubled, no technology – yay!
You like & love other people. This does not preclude you from loving solitude. You’re walking, you’ve left the forest. You’re on the barren plains, ahead is something new.
Living, Staring, Feelings. Sad, happy, forlorn, contented etc. etc. etc.
I have been to New Jersey and New York but not on a containership. Next time maybe.
I envy young kids who can draw freely and without clutter in their heads. Of many efforts, this to me is the best I’ve made.
| When I draw people, animals, and even monsters I usually see them as non-threatening, even happy. I hope you see so as well, although it’s none of my business. * PLEASE NOTE this painting has been altered by me, for better or worse. If of interest it can be viewed at my gallery or an image sent to you. |
| Visually I enjoy flags. At the least – shape, colours, the very way they flap in the breeze. A lot can be read into a flag – be it a nations flag, that of a bikie club, an organisation, a ship or pirate ship. When it comes to the flags of nations I sometimes, unfortunately, find myself associating them with negatives – the German flags of the Nazi regime, whether we should have the Union Jack, is America too deserving of, to me a wonderful flag – and so on.
I really wish I’d grow up and be strict to the aesthetics, or if anything more than resonate from the flag that is be only positives. Hence… this flag is my design – it sends no negative signal, in fact it does not endeavour to be anything more than a flag that may make some people happy, and true to nature has some oddities, for example the base emblem being in the bottom right corner, rather than the top left: it is a flag without the want or need to represent anything. |
