ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have no formal training, a late starter. For me it is about originality. For better or worse I struggle to find a new idea, then I produce several paintings of that theme, and then seek a fresh idea. I like the ongoing battle between chaos and order, perhaps a metaphor for my life . I’ve been less professional than I ought to have , but recently have become represented by galleries in Melbourne, Bangalow , Brisbane and Noosa , and of course continue to hold exhibitions here in Australia. Denmark and Asia are the next goals. I am overcoming my cynicism ( or insecurity) by entering art prizes. Art is not everything to me, a balanced life is, but art is alot, very much alot.

MY PITCH TO YOU
Until recently I had largely been confined to Adelaide. I was the sole parent of my 3 daughters whilst I ran my own law firm, and from time to time suffered depression. I am now enjoying my most productive and content years. I want to (and am) spreading my wings . I love to travel and meet new people and cultures. I desire associations with galleries as far flung as I might be lucky enough to attract. To me meeting person to person is so important, even if it is just to learn. Also I enjoy to traveling to galleries who do or might exhibit my work-I enjoy engaging with anyone interested in Art. I travel to meet such people regardless of financial cost to me. To me it is worth it. Unhumbly I tell you that I present well- I believe I am passionate and engaging.
Future and current works – I’m working on a series of australian outback abstract. I have recently found popularity with paintings containing much of my writings and also coloured cubist. Not only am I open to new ideas but I thrive on them.

Many of my ‘writing paintings’ contain such stories in different themes. As I mentioned above, I love to travel and enagage with different cultures. Often solo on cargo ships throughout the world. The Paintings often depict those engagements but also other aspects of my life. The one and the more painting in the book are linked to the stories and not necessarily as broad as all of my various themes at throughout painting career I appreciate they may or may not interest to you
